Which is better: fingerprint, card or face recognition?
Each suits a different need. Cards are fast and economical for large numbers of users; fingerprints cannot be lent or lost; face recognition is contactless and convenient for busy entrances. GTS recommends the method — or a mix — that fits each door and your security level.
Can access be limited to certain hours?
Yes. The system software lets you define time schedules, so a person’s authorisation to enter a place is only valid during the hours you specify.
Can the system record staff attendance?
Entry and exit events are recorded for every user, so the same records can be used to follow attendance and movement. Tell us what reports you need and we will configure the system accordingly.
What happens to the doors during a power cut?
Door locks and controllers are normally supported by backup power, and each door is configured during design to stay locked or to release safely according to your safety and security requirements.
