CCTV Surveillance Camera Systems

GTS designs, supplies and installs CCTV surveillance systems for facilities, companies and homes across Egypt. Each system is planned around your site — camera positions, recording capacity and remote viewing — so that every critical area is covered and footage is available when you need it.

What is a CCTV surveillance system?

A CCTV (closed-circuit television) system is a network of cameras connected to a recorder and monitoring screens. It shows what is happening on your premises live, stores the footage for later review, and lets authorised people follow the site from a control room, a computer or a mobile phone. Today it is an indispensable part of securing facilities, homes and companies.

Frequently asked questions

CCTV Surveillance Cameras: frequently asked questions

How many cameras does my site need?

It depends on the number of entrances, the areas you need to cover and the level of detail required — for example recognising a face at a gate versus watching a wide yard. GTS carries out a site survey and proposes a camera layout that covers every critical point without paying for cameras you do not need.

Can I watch my cameras from my mobile phone?

Yes. Modern recorders can be connected to the internet so that authorised users can watch live video and play back recordings from a mobile phone or computer, wherever they are.

How long is the footage kept?

The retention period is set by the storage capacity, the number of cameras, the resolution and the recording mode. During design we calculate the storage needed to keep recordings for the period you ask for.

Do you maintain existing camera systems?

Yes. After-sales service is a core part of how GTS works. We maintain the systems we install and can inspect an existing installation and recommend repairs or upgrades.
